Effective 5/2008 We have sold our rafting operations to Moxie Outdoor Adventures
Rafting trips now meet at the Moxie Base on Lake Moxie 5 miles for our lodging.
Rafting only ! - Kennebec, Dead and Canada Falls
 From
points south: Take I-95 - exit 133 "Rt. 201-Skowhegan"
Drive North on Rt. 201 for 62-3 miles into the West Forks. (follow below)
From points north: Take I-95 - exit 157
"Rt. 2 West - Newport" Drive west on Rt. 2 into Skowhegan. Take
a right onto Rt. 201 and follow below.
From points west: Take Rt. 2 East into
Skowhegan. Drive north on Rt. 201 and follow below.
You will pass through Skowhegan (last chance for late night stores &
gas stations), Solon, Bingham & The Forks. Once you reach The Forks look for signs to Lake Moxie. The first one you will see is our office sign continue past for seven miles you will see our blue sign for Moxie Outdoor Adventures and the bridge crossing the Kennebec River. Take the right BEFORE THE BRIDGE turn onto the Moxie Road. DO NOT CROSS THE BRIDGE follow the Moxie road for 5 miles it will end at Lake Moxie look for the second blue sign. Turn right onto the dirt road go 2/10ths of a mile we you will see us on the left.

From
points south: Take I-95 - exit 133 "Rt. 201-Skowhegan"
Drive North on Rt. 201 for 62-3 miles into the West Forks. (follow below)
From points north: Take I-95 - exit 157
"Rt. 2 West - Newport" Drive west on Rt. 2 into Skowhegan. Take
a right onto Rt. 201 and follow below.
From points west: Take Rt. 2 East into
Skowhegan. Drive north on Rt. 201 and follow below.
You will then drive over
the Kennebec River Bridge and pass the general store. The River House
Lodge is the log house 100 yds after the store on the left. [The Outpost
Lodge is the large log house (wrap-around porch) just North on the right
next to the round quonset building]. Our new baselodge, "The Hawk's
Nest Restaurant/Pub" is just North of The Outpost Lodge, on the right
across from river.

Housatonic River Base - Bulls Bridge Gorge "Bulls Bridge Inn"
Our base of operations on the Housatonic River is located at the Bulls Bridge
Inn in Kent, CT.
From Hartford and/or points east of Danbury:
Take Rt. 84 West to exit 9-Rt. 25 North towards Brookfield. In Brookfield,
take a right onto Rt. 7 North. (follow below)
From NYC or points South: Take 684 North
to 84 East to Rt. 7 North. (follow below)
From New Haven: Take I95 South to Rt. 25 North to Rt. 7 North. (follow below)
In Brookfield, take Rt. 7 North approximately 25 miles to the Bull’s
Bridge Inn. You are there when... approaching a stoplight, you see a gas
station / food mart followed by the Bull’s Bridge Inn (large white
house) on the right.
